Certification Policy
1. Purpose of Certification
KantoBiz certification verifies the identity of artists and entities registered on the platform. It aims to strengthen trust between users and ensure the authenticity of profiles.
2. Accepted Documents
2.1. Individual Artists
Individual artists must provide one of the following documents:
- National identity card (front and back)
- Passport (identity page)
2.2. Groups and Entities
Groups and entities must provide:
- Kbis extract or equivalent (less than 3 months old)
- Articles of association
- Identity document of the legal representative
2.3. Formats and Limits
- Accepted formats: PDF, PNG, JPEG
- Maximum size: 10 MB per file
- Maximum number: 2 files per request
3. Verification Process
3.1. Automated Analysis
Submitted documents are automatically analyzed by our OCR (optical character recognition) system to extract identity information.
3.2. Manual Review
The administration team then performs a manual review to validate document compliance and information consistency.
3.3. Decision
The request may result in one of the following statuses:
- APPROVED: certification is granted, a verified badge appears on the profile
- REJECTED: the request is declined with a detailed reason and the option to submit a new request
- PENDING: the request is being processed
4. Data Retention
Original files (images, PDFs) are stored in encrypted form during the processing period. Only the OCR-extracted text is retained after the decision. This policy aims to minimize personal data in accordance with the GDPR data minimization principle.
5. Consequences of Certification
5.1. Benefits
- Verified badge visible on the public profile
- Increased trust from bookers
- Priority access to certain features
5.2. Restrictions
After certification, the following data can no longer be directly modified by the artist: first name, last name, date of birth, gender. Any modification request must be sent to support.
