Last updated : 2026-05-30

1. Purpose and Scope

These Terms of Use (hereinafter "ToU") govern access to and use of the KantoBiz platform by artists and artistic service providers.

1.1. Definitions

  • "Platform": the KantoBiz website and mobile applications
  • "Artist": any user registered as an artistic service provider
  • "Booker": any user searching for and booking artistic services
  • "Service": any artistic service agreed upon between an Artist and a Booker via the Platform

1.2. Acceptance

Registering on the Platform as an Artist implies full and unreserved acceptance of these ToU. Any use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the ToU in force.

2. Registration and User Account

2.1. Registration Requirements

To register on the Platform, the Artist must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Create a password of at least 8 characters including uppercase, lowercase, numbers and special characters
  • Accept these ToU and the Privacy Policy

2.2. Authentication Methods

The Artist may log in using the following methods:

  • Email and password with validation code
  • Google OAuth
  • Apple OAuth (mobile applications)
  • Biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) on compatible devices

2.3. Account Responsibility

The Artist is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials and any activity carried out from their account. In the event of suspected fraudulent use, the Artist must immediately notify KantoBiz.

3. Services and Performances

3.1. Publishing Services

The Artist may publish artistic service offers on the Platform. Each service must be described accurately and completely.

3.2. Bookings

When a Booker submits a booking request, the Artist has a reasonable period to accept or decline. Acceptance automatically generates a service contract.

3.3. Service Contract

A PDF contract is automatically generated for each accepted booking. This contract is electronically signed by both parties and includes the service details, amount, cancellation conditions and applicable refund policy.

4. Pricing and Commission

4.1. Platform Commission

KantoBiz charges a commission on each transaction made via the Platform. The current commission rate is 15%. This rate is configurable and may be modified with 30 days' notice.

4.2. Artist Wallet

The Artist's earnings are credited to an internal wallet. The Artist may request a bank transfer to their SEPA account at any time, subject to reaching Stripe's minimum threshold (approximately EUR 10).

4.3. Fund Release

Fund disbursement follows these rules:

  • Flexible Policy: deposit released 7 days before the event
  • Strict Policy: deposit released 14 days before the event
  • Remaining balance: paid out after the Artist marks the booking as "Completed"

5. Identity Certification

5.1. Certification Process

The Artist may submit a certification request by providing a valid identity document. Documents are analyzed by OCR and verified by the administration team.

  • Accepted documents: national ID card, passport (individual artists) or Kbis, articles of association (entities)
  • Formats: PDF, PNG, JPEG — max 10 MB per file, max 2 files
  • Processing time: varies depending on the volume of requests

5.2. Consequences of Certification

Once certified, the Artist receives a verification badge on their profile. Certain identity data (first name, last name, date of birth, gender) becomes non-editable to ensure consistency with the verified documents.

6. Premium Subscriptions

6.1. Subscription Tiers

KantoBiz offers four premium subscription tiers:

  • Violet: EUR 2.99/month
  • Blue: EUR 4.99/month
  • Silver Star: EUR 7.99/month
  • VIP: EUR 14.99/month

6.2. Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions are automatically renewed. The Artist may cancel at any time from their account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

6.3. Natural Progression

Subscription tiers may also be reached naturally through the platform's progression system (LevelProgress), without any payment.

7. Cancellation and Refund

7.1. Cancellation by the Booker

Refund conditions depend on the policy chosen at the time of booking:

  • Flexible Policy: 100% refund if cancelled more than 7 days before the event, 50% if less than 7 days (excluding service fees)
  • Strict Policy: 100% refund if cancelled more than 7 days before the event, 0% if less than 7 days (excluding service fees)
  • Service fees are never refunded

7.2. Cancellation by the Artist

An Artist wishing to cancel an accepted booking must contact KantoBiz support. Repeated cancellations may result in account penalties.

8. Communication

8.1. Internal Messaging

The Platform provides a real-time messaging system (chat) accessible after a booking request is accepted. Messages are limited to 1,000 characters. Only text messages and contractual documents (contracts, flyers) may be exchanged.

8.2. Negotiation

A counter-proposal system allows the Artist and the Booker to negotiate the terms of the service before signing the contract.

9. Account Deletion

The Artist may request the deletion of their account at any time from the application settings. Deletion is subject to the following conditions:

9.1. Prerequisites

  • No ongoing events (status ACCEPTED or PAID)
  • Wallet balance at zero
  • If group leader: no funds or ongoing events for the group

9.2. Consequences

Deletion results in the permanent removal of all data associated with the account (profile, services, messages, transactions, contacts, etc.) as well as the revocation of all authentication tokens.

10. Applicable Law and Disputes

These ToU are governed by Malagasy law. For users residing in the European Union, the mandatory provisions of European consumer law apply. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before taking any legal action. The contact for mediation is: contact@digiwide.io.
